Lt. Erwin Hensch, USS Indianapolis Survivor. Hensch was one of four USS Indianapolis survivors interviewed for this podcast. Hensch accompanied Captain McVay to Washington DC to assist McVay in writing the "After Tragedy" reports and to assist in writing condolence letters to family member's of shipmates lost at sea.
